On the way to the exhibition...

It's those chance meetings and sightings between planned destinations that surprise and delight in equal measure. And the journeys between London Craft Week brought a couple of notables.

Alice Hume, a fellow weaver, was also intrigued to see Mourne Textiles at work. Alice is based in Portsmouth and creates beautiful art pieces - www.vanderhume.co.uk.

And I fell in love with a pair of mid-century chairs in Pimlico - it's a weave thing!
