Lin is the designer-maker behind Suffolk Threads. She loves working with those yarns that link to Suffolk’s rich textile heritage as well as taking inspiration for her designs from the county’s architecture and landscapes.  Weaving dominates her textile work at the moment; a passion that has grown since her childhood. Knitting has been a constant thread in her life since the age of 4 and in her 20s she learnt how to make lace using her great-grandmother’s lace bobbins. In addition, she enjoys spinning, dyeing, felting, and now basketry from her home-grown willow.  No wonder she proudly wears the badge of ‘craft tart’!
