Maths geek; scientist; nuclear engineer; training officer; primary teacher; hand dyer of British yarns and fibres - some would say Nic is easily distracted and subject to changing direction... She prefers to think of it as gathering a wide range of interests and experiences to influence her weaving. Nic loves to work with British wool, although she readily admits to being seduced  by shiny silks and fine linen threads. She loves collapse weave and double cloth and hasn't met an undulating twill she doesn't like.
