Margot is a knitter. Her mother taught her knitting and dressmaking early, and her grandmother introduced her to crochet and lace making, although these never had the same place in her heart. Throughout her career, spare time and necessary inspiration came from creating garments or playing with some form of knitting as a complete change from dealing with other people's problems. She is fascinated by the potential for creating 3D knitted fabrics, and the exploration of the more arcane and wonderful technical yarns and techniques.
