#SeptTextileLove Day 16: Dyeing

Since learning of Avocado Pink I have been scouring my recipe books and freezing the skins. At last I have enough! Gentle simmering of the skins filled the house with the smell of sweet tea. The overnight steeping has produced a madder-like pink.  

Favourite “recipe” is still toasted sourdough with smooshed avocado, Earl Grey smoked salmon, crowned with a perfectly poached egg. Or as I prefer to call it, Weaver͛s Brunch.
