Cold!

A project I've been working on recently has thrown up an image that seemed appropriate to share in the recent blast of cold weather:

It is an illustration by Kay Neilsen from an old Norwegian folk tale called 'The Three Princesses of Whiteland'.

In this picture the king is desperately trying to get back to Whiteland to find his queen.

It manages to capture how it has felt here recently, trying to get through the snow and the wind to get anywhere (even to the woodshed for more wood to burn!).
